World of Speed Motorsports Museum Celebrates the 55th Anniversary of the Porsche 911

Wilsonville, ORWorld of Speed Motorsports Museum, a Wilsonville, Oregon-based nonprofit motorsports museum, is celebrating the 55th Anniversary of the Porsche 911 with a new exhibit dedicated to one of the most iconic sports cars of all time.

The World of Speed Motorsports Museum’s Porsche 911 exhibit will open on April 28 and run through December 2018. Celebrating 55 years of 911 legacy, the exhibit will showcase coveted street cars and race cars with rich history. Porsches will range from a 1967 911 SWB to the legendary Porsche 959 and the Peter Gregg Brumos 935. In all there will be 12 Porsche models on display, highlighting some of the Stuttgart automaker’s finest.

  • 911 GTU “Monte Shelton”
  • 935 BRUMOS “Peter Gregg”

World of Speed is open from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Tuesday to Friday and Sunday, and from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Saturday. For membership and pricing information, visit worldofspeed.org.
