Champaign, IL — RM Sotheby’s concluded its Online Only: Open Roads, Fall auction (11-20 November) with over $5M in total sales and 89% of all lots finding new homes. Bidders participated in the auction from 34 countries, with 22 percent representing first-time RM clientele. Comprising a total of 77 motor cars and nearly 300 lots of memorabilia, the online auction was led by a 1969 Ferrari 365 GTC by Pininfarina selling at $660,000. The auction saw more than 3800 bids placed on RM Sotheby’s Online Only auction platform with several extensions causing spirited online bidding.
