Bedford, MA - The world's foremost PC racing simulation service just expanded its reach: iRacing.coms Mac OS X version is now available. What's more, a Linux version is expected to be released in the near future.

iRacing president Tony Gardner stated, "Not only are we the premier racing simulation in the world, I think we will be the only serious racing game or simulation that runs on the Mac. We are excited that this expansion to Mac will allow those passionate users the opportunity to join the 45,000+ dedicated race gamers and sim-racers worldwide already competing 24/7 on iRacing's unparalleled array of race cars, tracks and series."

Gardner also noted that "iRacing's most recent update includes full support for the Occulus Rift virtual reality headset, making iRacing available to that community as well."

The new Mac version of the simulation service will be consistent with the features and content available to iRacers using PCs, including quarterly releases of new features and enhancements.
