Photos: Day 2—SVRA’s Heacock Classic Gold Cup at VIR

Alton, VA—How wonderful it was to see more than 200 entries for SVRA’s Heacock Classic Gold Cup with 12 vintage race groups and a separate race group for Mazda Miatas. Add in the IGT entries and the fiercely fought battles in the modern Trans Am Series, which made for a very exciting weekend of racing at Virginia International Raceway in its full course configuration—3.37 miles of undulating circuit with elevation changes. Unfortunately, because of the Covid-19 pandemic, no spectators were allowed.
